I try ty find some info on the forum but I found nothing about this.
I have a HDRI sky and I want to see it through a window. It do not work. The window is always Black.
Here is my file. Could you check it and tel me wats wrong?

Do you have alpha channel turned on? With alpha turned on, backgrounds will render black to allow for compositing afterwards. You can do a search for alpha, it's been discussed several times before.

I unfortunatly start by checking if I had check alpha in the Maxwell Render Settings.... and NO.

If you open it in Studio and render what happens? Could you please upload the mxs instead? Perhaps the HDR lighting is not set up correctly in Cinema.

Are you getting a completely black render or it renders black just on the glass part?

I'm astonish! I spend so many time… with no result.
It's only the part behind the Glass and the part in the sthere reflecting the sky.

What version of Studio and plugins do you have?

Studio 1.6
Leopard 10.5.1
2 Intel xeon bi3Gh
4Ghtz Ram
Studio works very badely. Crash very often. Open GL not working well.
I can't render a sequence from c4d. (I can send you the file i if your interresting) For this problem I wrote to maxwell after the patch 1.6.1 to tell maxwell it wasn't fixed.

You should install the latest C4D plugin (1.6f3) and also Studio 1.6.1.

I re install the last Plug and stud app. I had already did it before but in the info panel it is writen 1.6 but I checked twice it's the 12 december new patch.)

The result is the same.
Do you have someone working on Mac. maby the broblem came from there.

Looks like it might be your normals...try reversing.
