Hi

when I create a file in C4D and attach Custom MXMs my materials always come out the wrong size.

For example, I set up a scene with a huge floor tile jpeg from Arroway (bought product not the sample that comes with MW) and set it to the floor geometry. However, it renders out tiny so that my large floor tile jpeg gets 'tiled' hundreds of times across the floor geometry.

I know that if I set the scale on the C4D material tag to something like 300% it starts to look better but with the time it takes to render the trial and error approach is a real pain.

anyone got any idea how to do this better???

TIA

Adri

don't scale the cinema material by % but by real scale (instead of using texture modifying use texture axis mod). instead of 100/100/100 for the standard cubic projection use something bigger like 1000/1000/1000 and try it again.
