Anyone got them working with MW?

I'm trying to break up some geometry to apply new materials to certain parts and that's what you would do in C4D normally.

anyone?

TIA

I recently imported a Poser figure into Cinema4D using InterPoser and the figure had quite a few seperate material zones applied to the mesh.

Maxwell 1.5.1 rendered all the materials according to their selections without me having to split the mesh into seperate parts.

The thing I noticed is that the selections are all point selections. I've tried before with polygon selections and didn't get it to work.

Sorry, I just saw this and I have been away for a while.

I do not have any trouble using polygon selections to apply different materials to parts of a mesh. Just make sure you are adding the texture tag and the selection tag to the mxm attributes and it should work. Also make sure that you are not using projection types that are not supported, I can't recall right now, but I know a couple of them do not work.

If you still can't get it to work post a scene so we can take a look.

Cheers,
