Be very carefull to delete any older installations of M~R on any other Hard Disks (that are connected to your mac) too, as there is a possibility that when you try to render fron C4D, some system variable still points to older installations.
My suggestion is to:
1. DELETE and Empty the Trash or ZIP your older M~R folder
2. Launch mxcl.app from Applications/Maxwell to make sure the system variables are correct for the app.
3. if you used the "Environment variables" preference pane (shareware) to set your older M~R environment variables, DELETE the path or use the appropriate unix command from terminal. It is not needed any more for M~R to run.
I am not very happy again with Cinemaxwell but at least these suggestions may help some of you get the best you can.
Please post any new discoveries here.
