I'm at a loss. I've installed the new plugin and started a brand new very simple scene and I keep getting this error "Couldn't write MXS file"

I'm using Cinema 4D V9.603
I unzipped the maxwell.r9.6.dylib.zip file as well.

I just don't know what's causing this.

Any ideas.

Thanks!

Yes i get this very often too.
Perhaps this is a bug.

what helps is: make a "rendersetting object" (if you dont already have it) and press the "write MXS" button. (perhaps to initalize the mxs ... who knows...)

And make sure that the path in your "working folder" in the render-settings-object really exists.
