Hi nextlimit team,
it would be great to be able to have an options to have relative paths for the metrials in the plugin.
right now if i save a custom mxm the parth looks like:
"Z:\LL-Raid-001\LL_2006\RF06_24_MHC Kasachstan\cinema\krankenhaus280806a\tex\LL_Holz_001.mxm"
a relative path also works i tested, this is like the plugin should insert the path if relative is wanted:
"tex\LL_Holz_001.mxm" (this is the "tex"-folder on the same level as the cinema 4d file, where i save all custom made materials and textures)
i now manually change all pathes to relative ones, it does work for maxwellrender, but it is a lot of hand-work. would be great to have this option automaticly in the plugin.
the sense of this is that i can move my project around in the office or put it on my notebook and work at home..it always finds the textures with relative paths.
so maxwell seems to be able to work with relative paths already, only the plugin not yet.
cheers
stefan
