Friends,

We all know the beautiful potential of Maxwell. Good job on the wonderful breakthrough.

It has just been a long as mofing time since any progress has been made to the C4D plugin, and we don't have animation or a usable netrender capability.

I knew by using aggrivated words that I could spark a debate and I genuinely thank you all for your particpation. What I hope comes from this is NL to lift it's head out of the physics books and improve on their software. We've all seen how fast they can make improvements when they're working on them.

I'm proposing that NL has been on vacation for some time because they're just burnt out on the process of development and feel that we can live with what they view as an acceptable product. Well I'm here to tell NL that it's not acceptable.

I'll still use the software when I'm trying to deceive someone into believing that it's real but I'll tell you straight up, it's a real pain to use this software. I have to go into extended amounts of therapy and foreplay to get the juices flowing if you know what I mean.

I like a sofware that's ready to go from the start and this is not that software. I want the aformentioned upgrades and full C4D 9.5 Compositing Tag compatability, then I'll bow before NL and kiss some feet. Shit I would even fund that side of the development myself if they'd let me.

noseman,

with all respect, but having a no rufund policy is not illigal, it is very very common in software buissness. you have a 2week rigth to give things back in the Eu not more. and also this doesnt include all products.

most companies do like that. we are a little spoiled by maxon which behaves nicer in most respects(not all sadly).

cheers

No refund policy IS legal.
Not mentionin the no refund policy is illegal.
I'm living in Russia, here at almost ANY shop with no-refund/exchange you can see a sign about it.

Well, "the customer has right to have all, correct information on the product he is purchasing, including limitations in use and purchase/return".
That's the law in most of civilized world. It is illegal to conceal this info from customers :)

didnt you read the license agreement?

it was and is there when you buy it, on the left bottom.
i am not sure but i think everything is written in there. then it should be correct.

As long as NL doesn't deliver the product they advertise (not even close) then any agreement is not valid.

This summarizes the whole NL story. They want us to respect every aspect of our agreements, including forum rules, and on the other hand they don't respect ANY of their commitments. Even as we speak, this joke version 1 is a breach of agreement.

As simple as that.

They can easily get rid of me by giving me my money back.
By keeping my money it's like telling me to hang around and SHOUT FOR MY CINEMA PLUGIN.

I PAID FOR IT ON FEBRUARY 2005!

EDIT:
Ok, I don't want my money back... yet (as if I'm gonna get it he he). Let's see what the new plug will look like.

NL is listening to your concerns. Redundant posting on this subject will not be tolerated, please one message is understood.

Multiple request similar in nature that border on something that is of a different nature will result in moderator action.

After viewing an "alternative" maxwell forum, I'm convinced we are totally wasting our time here.

I'm looking for a new render engine... all the movies use renderman and they look damn good so I think that's where I'm going. Damn I feel sorry for the people who bought more than one serving of licences... talk about a gamble
