when i use a custom material with 2 layers one for the reflection and one for the colour /base i get the normal green default colour
when i apply a shinny plastic material from the NL mat folder it comes out aok
when i use the same custom material with a jpg in the colour slot it works fine
even when i copy the material settings from the shinny plastic material supplied onto a new custom new material it still shows the default green material as the colour. has anyone else had this and does any one know how to solve it or what im doing wrong
this is in V1

have you more than one custom-mxm-material with the name "default" in your scene?
if yes, you have to rename the materials (in studio, or export them with a different name in mxed ("save" does not work there.it´s a known bug)).

if custom materials have the same name (& are exported from plugin) only the first one gets imported to the renderer .

nope
two materials: thier shinny blue and my custom mxm

EDIT: i just tried something to see if it would work and it did
i exported my custom mxm and then reloaded the exported version and it works, so this has to be a bug as it is the exact same material just export and imported.
