Hi all. I was doing a quick test of HDRI lighting from C4D and I noticed something very weird. The plug-in seems to be scaling and translating some of my geometry when it creates the mxs file. Take a look at these images.

This is the top view of my scene. Note the small plates to the left and right of the table.

This is what my camera preview looks like. And here is the rendered image:

The two small plates have moved and gotten a lot smaller. Everything else is fine.

Here is an overlay of the two:

You can clearly see that the only thing that is different are the two small plates. The geometry for those is the same as the large plates but I scaled the whole object in its own file, then imported the objects.

I find it interesting too that even with my camera settings matching in M~R and C4D (I have the output set to medium format and the M~R camera tag set to 60mm x 60mm) the image that is rendered matches the perspective just fine, but it seem to render a larger area.

Anyway, anybody seen this before? I know that it is the plug-in doing this because when I open the mxs file in studio the plates already show up smaller and moved.

Thanks,[/b]

verify that the scale of the geometry in the Attribute editor is 1-1-1 and give the funtion "Reset system". It's an old issue ;)

I'm wondering when they fix this... it's been in there for over a year now.

Though you shouldn't scales axes during modeling anyway, at least when it
comes to animation there are sometimes valid reasons to do it...
