Thanks Cri3d!

Please use the tutorial request sticky and I will see what I can do for you all!
Tyrone:

No offense, but you are proposing a tutorial as a work around for a "buggy" plug-in? Unbelievable!

No, it doesn't. Care to try with this scene?
OK, your problem is phong tag: delete it! (cube)

...and set reflectance color in plastic tag to black.

Then it works! :D

No, I make a tutorial so you understand how to use the plugin, like the skymap tag.

I did not show a workaround but a method for how to use it.

I propose no less unless of course there is a bug of some kind that does not allow for it.

Extend some patience, I will help out with some more tutorials this weekend!

But the cube is not reflective! What when you want both, texture and reflectivity? Or is this just the roughness of the surface that makes it look non-reflective?
Have you ever seen a bricks wall reflecting like a mirror?

the point is that you are not able to control the amount of reflectivity
You can play with roughness or specular colour (from white to black).

Tyrone: the plastic tag works but not really properly.

In fact if we take a look at a plastic material created by cinema plugin into the material editor, we can see it looks set different from the way a regular plastic material should be set.
I am talking about layers order, textures and Lambertian.

So I ask you now:"Can we consider this as a bug?"
"Do you think it's possible to fix this in the next cinemaxwell releases?"
