I am having a problem mapping the object shown below in Maxwell. It may be it's construction that is the issue. To make the tree I created an 8 sided tapered cylinder, deleted 6 of the sides, adjusted the angle of the remaining 2 sides in the top view so they were flat in the Z direction. Applied a planar UV map in the Z direction to them and readjusted them to their original angle. I cloned 3 more pairs recreating the original 8 sided cylinder. That was bent and played with to make the main trunk, you can follow it from the base out to the tip. The branches are duplicates of the main trunk, adjusted and welded in place, and they carry the original UV map with them. Sounds complicated but it was actually very fast and was the best way I could figure out to texture it.
But Maxwell is not reading the UV map...is there a way to solve that?

I would appreciate any help. Cheers, Ron
