Nothing really great, but I did get the scene and textures into Studio and applied some coatings to some of the textures and rendered in Studio. It's an old scene that most of you have looked at before. But at least I feel like I did get something to happen here, simple as it is.
It was all fumbling around in the dark, as I have very, very little understanding of any of the functions of the material editor. I understand very little of the nomanclature or terms for what the different aspects of the materials and layers do. I printed out sections of the manual for reference and tried things. Still very confusing and frustrating. We need a really in depth manual that explains this stuff in everyday language for the technically challanged like me. Sorry NL guys, but I am just not that educated about these things. Anyway, a big sigh at the end of a long day...I got it to render.
Cheers, Ron
