Hi all.

So...To set up network rendering, I have done the following with my PCs:

>>>Activated the machines running mxcl -server (one of them being mxcl- manager)
>>>Created a shared network folder through the 'Map network drive' selection, now M:\
>>>Added jobs with their image&mxi output location being M:\
>>>Displayed jobs as its rendering
>>>Rendered result: Success!

But now, no image gets dropped or saved in the shared network folder. The only file in the folder is the mxs file. Where is the image&mxi?

Do the nodes have anything to do with this? As it is, I am working with 4 licenses + 0 nodes.

I've only installed the "maxwell_1.7.0-win32.exe". Do any other patches or scripts need to be installed?

Or is it a problem with the firewall settings, something that the IT personel need to take care of?

Try running a non network render and saving to the same folder. Perhaps it's a folder permission issue.

It definitely is!!!

Under the shared folder properties, I checked 'Full Control' and 'Change' under permissions; before, only Read was checked.
