the problem is that i have the camera placed precisely to match a photograph into which i have to composite an exterior rendering (building)

thus it's not simple to create a new camera... i'll use one computer to render the region in studio then !

I disagree mate!
If u think about it, any time you blow up a render region a temp file is created so if you load this file on the farm it will be render as you want. hope it helps.

Using the exported temp file probably won't work because mxcl won't know the region should be rendered. We'll improve this next time.
