Uhm. Seems like I shouted Yippie a little too early.

Cooperative rendering works.. BUT when I start the first job, the rendernodes says:

Reading MXS File: C:\Program......\cooperative.mxs
MXS file read succesfully

>> Checking Data.. etc

>>Render successful.

Now.. I change the .mxs file on my workstation to a completely different .mxs scene file. And add a job..

Now the rendernodes says

>> Checking Data
>> Loading Bitmaps etc..

>> Render successful.

But when I look at the new MXI file produced by the new scene. Its still have rendered the first .mxs scene! So to me it seems the nodes doesn't update the cooperative.mxs file correctly. I need to shut them down, and restart them in order to render out a different scene.

Any thoughts?!

Can someone else please try this (one of those lucky guys/gals that got cooperative to work atleast..)

Same thing happened here (I have only one computer). For some reason the maxwell plugin stoped saving the actual *.mxs!!!

Mike? Tom? Anyone? Are we missing anything?

I´ve spent a whole day, shutting down rendernodes, deleting cooperative.mxs files, having manager crashes, nodes that crashes..

Until cooperative rendering works flawless, I don´t have time to use M~W for my projects :(

Hey there, after all the s**t talking here i am. he,he
just ranned into the issue about half an hour ago. It started either because i increased the res., or because i ran mscl.exe -d -ml, or used HDRI. Did you guys do any of those two things before it started happening?
Anywho, i'm trying to debugg the scene now. :oops:


update. -after...
runing mxcl.exe -d
rfreshing th mxi file (creating a copy of the previous one)

Network rendering unglued itself from the previous MXS...

Now i'm trying with multilight

I've had the same problem. Have to manually clean out the render nodes maxwell folder.

By doing those two things it cleared out,
However i can not get the multilight (-d -ml) to work with network... :evil:
