Everything related to Maxwell network rendering systems.

the main issue for me is still the number of cpu per license. and for bigger studios it´s less a cost issue. it just leaves a bad taste. that´s all. maxwell is extremly slow, and won´t never be the fastest renderer in the world. that´s okay and we all knew it. what to do ? buy more machines...at least it´s possible to reduce time with coop. mode. and now ? buy more licenses. all okay to me !! but compared to vray and fr (10 MACHINES not cpu per license) NL makes money out of a handicap of their product. and that´s a bit weird. instead of saying, hey we are slow but we give you the chance to compensate it with more free cpu/machines per license. again, for me it´s not a money topic...it´s more the philosophy behind it that annoy me a bit

Yes, because you are. Be a decent fellow and just admit that sometimes you are sarcastic and offensive to anyone you don't agree with, often resorting to ridiculing, even teasing in your comments.
I mostly lurk here primarily because of posts like this. The pattern is always the same. Shrill, vindictive slams; a counter - sometimes polite, sometimes not; more vituperative posturing; a typically not-polite response; and then an attack for not being nice and understanding in the face of all the obstreperous garbage that's been spouted.

This isn't an informative debate. If you had been interested in actually learning something you could have simply asked.

I'd really like to suggest to all the Beatrices here that if you really want to play to Next Limit's Benedick that you please read forward on your copy of Much Ado About Nothing and see how you end up by the conclusion.

question ?

if you render one mxi

and after your duplicate mxi ten twice, your change the name ...(ex mxi one , two, tree, etc

after your combine all mxi

what happen ?

Nothing...only the partial solutions found by the engine in independent renders would add up to more calculated information about the light in a scene. Each .mxi just holds the data found for a given amount of invested processor time.

Well, it's pretty evident that net rendering is working, isn't it?
Thanks NL for providing such concrete proof.

Its only working when it's verified by the B-team (us).

If I said what I'm thinking about your petty comments, I'd be banned. You're not worth it.

LoL that is the funniest part. They put two of the same exact images in this email and labeled them netrender and regular render. How about showing screen shots of the netrender rendering that image rather than two of the same image.
