eventually managed to start a cooperative render...
now a machine has reach 47 minutes render and the other 32 minutes... how is that possible!!!!????
since in maxwell one assign rendertime as a parameter i assumed that both machine would stop at the same moment as soon the assigned rendertime has passed......the less powerfull machine would have reached less sample levell though..
wasnt that logical?

It's so simple...

a) If the given time is reached before defined sampling level, the render stops.
b) If defined sampling level is reached before the given time, the render stops.

If your machines' config are both alike, it would reach both situations in the same time and sampling level.
If your machines' config are different than each other, it would stop according to same rules (a and b) above and if the proior termination critera is time (a) then they'll stop at different sampling levels. If the critera corresponds to sampling level (b) then they'll both reach same sampling level at different amount of time.
However, if you're managing a cooperative render, it won't be problem having different sampling levels from your machines, because in the end they'll be joined to one.

i have noticed instead that the faster machine stop at scheduled time reaching a certain samples level.. the slower render untilr reached the sa,me sample level taking obviously more time
