just noticed this the other day:

upon requesting preview, i recieved an old image/mxi, as the manager must have crashed sometime and old temp files were still there.

i purged the tmp files while the network job was running, and then i recieved the correct preview.

however, when i stopped the job, i got error messages from the manager that it can't write to the *\job_6\*.* folder.

i think the simple reason is that the folder was removed with the purge command.
I guess a routine to recreate the folder if it is missing when stopping a job can easily prevent this.

You are right. We've been reproducing your steps and we've been able to get the same response.

We will solve it in the next versions to avoid this kind of situations.
