just noticed this the other day:
upon requesting preview, i recieved an old image/mxi, as the manager must have crashed sometime and old temp files were still there.
i purged the tmp files while the network job was running, and then i recieved the correct preview.
however, when i stopped the job, i got error messages from the manager that it can't write to the *\job_6\*.* folder.
i think the simple reason is that the folder was removed with the purge command.
I guess a routine to recreate the folder if it is missing when stopping a job can easily prevent this.
