Well.... I have a few computers in my office. I use as my workstation, a 64bit vista. When I copy my MXS to the other PC, on 2 others it will copy fast (32bit XP quads), and on 2 others (32bit XP quads) that are a bit older, it will stop copying after a sec or two, and say that the network connection cannot be found anymore. Only with *.MXS , all other files copy good. What can it be ?!?!?!

first thing i would try is get a MD5 checksum calculator and see if the other files are really copying ok. try it with big files (500 mb min)..

then you could try to connect&copy directly via ip (type "\\xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" in explorer address) to see if theres a problem with naming srevices.

asfaik there are known problems about file copying being slow under vista 64 in certain situations, but i don't run it so i can't tell you much more..
