if you use manual merging it does.

it has some workflow quirs though. after each image you have to restart mxcl -server on the server pcs and manualy delete the coop.mxs files.

it is most efficient to first tests if you merge a lot of mxi's with short render times. so i rather render 20 mxis at lower SL and merge them.

still i hope NL does an update to make it more fluent in workflow.

In my opinion it will not help as much as you would need.

Use the MXCalculator to see how many machines you would need to buy in order to get the image you need, or how long you need to wait for it.
Once you know the answer, do not get down!

v-cube, the number of machines you need in order to produce a 3000x2550 image in less than 13 hours and have it be at an acceptable level for noise is somewhere between 20 and 30.

It's producing a higher sample level in less time, but because of the way it's set up you don't really know what that sample level is. There are still many obstacles in the way that are keeping it from being a useful production tool, but it is working.
