Upside-down look better. A new casting bracket system for use in glass-fins. This test use an MXI image in emutter mat mapped over sphere (normal inverted). Some stripe with low watt emitter d65. I test a 40 sampling but the difference is not enough to justify thi s overcalc. Time total 1500 min. (one night)., Cesare

It's nice to see when someone pays great attention to detals, like the shiny metal, you can see tiny scratches, really nice!

Could you please post this on maxwellianart.com?

 Grazie ragazzi. (thanks a lot guys). I'm really happy to receive nice comments from esperts users like you.
I like work with glass because is a fantastic material. Elegant, shining and deeper in the same moment. Maxwell is great. Is a rock to visualize with glass and metal. If do you like i post the bump map obtain the scratched effect in front side of the steel bolt (do to cnc tecnic). Cesare

I believe that last shot is a photo and not a rendering right? I see chromatic abberation from the digital camera at the edges of the building?

If it's a render, I'm well impressed! :) Very cool design btw, but I always feel sorry for the glass cleaners with such intricate designs ;)

Congratulazioni davvero, è un piacere vedere architetture che pur essendo schiettamente moderne rimangono comunque sobrie. I complimenti per i rendering ovviamente sono scontati, la qualità è evidente! Bravo! (così capiscono anche gli anglofoni)

I believe it's a photo. As in: " this is a 'shot' of... "

But, it certainly is amazing that people would assume it could be a render. Maxwell has changed the way we look at this kind of image. Only a couple of years ago the idea that this photograph could be RENDERED on a HOME COMPUTER would be science fiction!

mmmmmmm maxwell.
