Just knocked out this Leini bottle. Thought it came out nice. At first I was trying to emulate their product shots until I realized how over retouched they were. This is how I would render these things.

Thanks for looking.

Beautiful!

This motivates me to get back to working on a whiskey bottle scene I gave up on.

Did you use a few emitters (I count at least 5?) or did you involve IBL?

Thanks! I used a little of both. I've got two emitters and an IBL. I really had to blast that back emitter to get this look. Worked great though. Slowly starting to get the workflow and materials.

Looking nice! Glass in liquid is not the most easy thing to do...especially with water drops when using maxwell. . Couple basic comments for next time...

Blow out the background and floor to white ( or maybe a hint of horizon line). The way it is right now looks a bit unintentional an the dark floor shadow kinda takes away focus from the product. Do it in photoshop, that's the easiest way to do it.

Water drops look a bit too random shaped and other than the neck, they are too dark. That seems to be from lack of light near the bottom of the bottle. Lighting of the drops on the neck looks great thought! Curious how you've done your drops.

Everything is looking pretty good. If bottles are something that you do, message me. Also, for reference regarding rendered bottles, look up Brett Simms...that guy is the king.

Thanks for the critique. All good stuff. I'm going to light up those lower drops and maybe add a "run". As far as how I set those up, I used Surface Spread (C4D plug) rather than Mograph because it let's you set space between them. With Mograph, there's tons of overlap that just doesn't happen in real life.

Also, I found if I removed the back face of the drop they rendered way better.

Thanks again-

Image Based Lighting. Using HDRI's for lighting.

Hi guys-
I couldn't take it anymore and dusted off Realflow to jazz this image up a notch. A little color and blur in Photoshop and I think I'll call this one done. Comments are always welcome.

Thanks!
