Hey everyone, I just got Maxwell Render. It's incredible. Here's an image of a paperclip, it holds all the folders on my desktop .

I actually have paperclips shaped like this. Though the model isn't 100% accurate. Here is a reference picture I took.

Great render hsume2... Bending it a bit would add a great degree of realism, plus some scratches!

Thanks for your C&C, I appreciate it. I will try that, plus I just looked at a few reference pics of the paperclips I did and realized what you guys meant. So I'll go see what I can do and I'll get back to you guys on that.

nice render and i see why it does not look so real... the tips of the wire must be cut off... not round

Thats nice. Heh, yah I must agree, the rounded edges make it look too nice. But I would just think they are "designer" paper clips.
