Hi all,

just putting together a few self promotional shots and here's one of them.

This mock-up was inspired by a recent Esso ad featuring a glass engine.

The model doesn't have much detail on the base so the caustics are not accurate - just enough to show what effect could be achieved.
The top and bottom of the shot are 2 separate renders with clear glass to get the caustics and frosted glass for the top.

Cheers,

Steve

well done... but I can't imagine that the caustics are from the car because of the frost

Cheers, I know what you mean. I just wanted to give the impression that the car is even 'cleaner' on the inside due to the fuel used.
