A little project I worked out last evening, rendered over night:

I think the balloon material needs more work. It looks too "solid".

I wanted to create a cartoon-like style, so with hard colors. I boosted the colors in photoshop afterwards.

But maybe this is a little to much and some transparency would be nice! It's Tom's Balloon material btw (works great!)

no no no it have to much glossy , reflection must be more specular.
