Here are my final fire station renderings. Feel free to comment as you like.

Thanks,

Aaron

They are more impressive at full size.....(24x36).....I think anyway.

I think (2nd image) the ground texture is too big.
Also, (1st image) either turn off the lights or render using an afternoon sky.
Generally, they are very nice images...

Thanks Guys!

JTB,
The client wanted the llights on. I agree though. I had the same issue on the animal shelter rendering I posted awhile back. I try to tell him, either do a day shot or a night shot. But this is how he wants it. The ground is rocks, so I think it is ok.

gadzooks,
I modeled all of the green grass plants and trees in Onyx tree and onyx grass.
The flowers I purchased.

Thanks,

Aaron

You have gone through some effort with the planting and it works well :) I like the firetruck shot lots of detail which is nice. One only crit that I have is, in post you may want to play with the levels a bit to jack up the contrast in the scene, the planting looks a tad dull but curves or level adjustments will fix this. Good Stuff!

Looking good Aaron...I really like the twillight views a lot.

Don't know if you changed the flags from before, but they look good now.

Your client should be very happy....you probably put too much time into them

Thanks guys...

I did add some displacement on the flags. I was to lazy, I mean tired, to model more ripples. The client was very happy. thanks for the comment. I am still learning Maxwell. It has been a year and a half now. I feel I still need improvment over lighting and material making. This job started in early march and just ended. So yes, very time consuming. Close to 15,000 cpu hours of rendering time to complete these at high resolutions. Actually quite stressful at times.....but I would not want to be doing anythig else...Maxwell still rocks!!! Can't wait for the update.
