This is a small restaurant that is apart of a condo complex in Galveston, there are about 2.5 million polly's in the scene. It took about 15 hours to reach a SL of 16.5 on 10 dual core machines.

A really clean image. Nicely modelled and lit too.

It's crying out for some people in there, get some AXYZ people (or similar) wandering about and it will totally come to life.

I've got some AXYZ people but I find that they tend to look really bad especially if you look at their faces, we just decided it was better to not mess with them.

Maxer, excellent job! The lighting is fantastic as is the modelling. (incidentally what modeler are you using?)
edit - nevermind I just checked out your gallery and saw that you use 3ds Max

I personally have never seen an architectural rendering where the 3d people didn't totally ruin it. On a collage, or an elevation... ok, but in this sort of realism, no 3d people are up to the same quality except clipmaps, but then shadows are problematic.

Excellent the way it is!

Fair enough. I find AXYZ people are great for mid to background use.

As you say close up they are a bit lacking, as with most CG people.

Still a great image.
