Hey guys,

Since a few months I am creating a daily cartoon for Holland's largest news website.

I started using a simple Max shader, but I soon longed for more eye candy and since a few cartoons I am using Maxwell to create a clay-like result:

Header translation: "Fidel Castro's last opponent...?"


Header: "Hotel ship had 4000 weed plants on board"
Guy says to his wife: "Isn't it nice dear, this tropical decor?"


Header: "Pakistan tests nuclear short distance missile"
Officer: "What kind of a @#$%&* bungler are you man?!"
Soldier: "Uh ... at least it works on very short distances!"


Header: "Addicted to sex after fall from scaffold"

Nice. I had a look at some stuff earlier. I assume Marty and Seamour don't get on. I wish someone would give me a job rendering toys. I think Maxwell is perfect for this.

Will, Marty and Seamour form a fine example of not being able to live with and not being able to live without each other.

And toys are great. I love to design toy figures and really hope that Seamour and Marty will become a bit of a success in the designer toy scene.

could you add the english translation? I can understand parts of it due to some similarities to german, but still, would be nice to get a real translation:)

I've added the translations to the cartoons, as you asked.

The headers are usually actual news item headers from the news website where the cartoons are published.
