Taking liberties like changing the Cornell green just disgusts me , ...but generally -- the color one is quite nice.

hey, this might be a question with a since-long-known answer, but - what's the thing/history with the cornell box. I've seen it in heaps of versions. Is it just a became-standardized way of measuring light qualities in renders?
