I like the second one better. I would give some variation to the asphalt-ground cover. The backround needs something. It looks like the world ends after the grassy area. throw in a tree in the foreground edge with a tad of dof. Just my opinions.

I agree that the second one is much better. If you're going for realism (not archviz), I would probably add a little roughness to the bricks, maybe some dirt. It's VERY clean and smooth at the moment.
