My crits: Good use of dirt, but the crime scene tape is really stick-out-like-a-sore-thumb CG-ish. The text is too perfect and it's flat mapped.

I agree with ajlynn. Maybe it's because I'm drunk but SHUT UP ALREADY ABOUT THE RC!!!

Back to your work. Very nice, love the stairs and the dirt map. The tape does need a little work. It looks like it could almost have the folds and stretch marks of plastic like that but the letters do look flat. Great work.

Try that, and I'd change the font to something blockier, imperfect and less spaced out:



And change the mapping... not sure what you're using, but uvunwrap might be what you need, or a cloth system.
