He he... 10 years ago I remember I did about 200 illustrations for a Phsycology book and we had a page with rats in cages... receiving electroshock... and I've been asked to show the rat in a extra fear stressed position... GTS Graphics (Los Angeles) received many complaints... the poor cartoon rat was too stressed..... I remember I first thought it was a joke....

kgoosens: thanx and yeap that's The Girl Poser model i used for my rendering, you got that right. Although yours got a lil bit twisted and stuff hehe (i wouldn't take credit for a model which isn't my own, just the rendering is..) btw, that rendering looks pretty good.. is it Maxwell ? black bars on her hehe i like that or pixelated boobies and private parts. i'm sure you don't need 2GB ram to render a anim with her.

Whiskey: It's definately NOT a child model, i would never render that naked, it's against my principles and rules. This is a adult stylized cartoon model of a woman and then i thought it was ok.

Hervé: Mm yep you're partly right about if a moderator tells me to remove them then i do so. However i think i typed also that if someone finds them disturbing then i'll be removing them so it's partly my own fault i guess since i left that door open. But what's done is done and i don't wanna have people offended by renderings even tho i find that to be awfully silly.

Zoppo: Most of the time i do as i'm told, but in cases like this yes since i also think i wrote that in my post about the pic that if anyone finds it offensive they will be removed. So apparently someone did and then i removed them. Besides i posted these and my current wip on my website for off-forum viewing for those who wanna see them. No one can censor my own website
Nah you haven't insulted me Zoppo, no worries. And i do agree with you it's not good, it's not right but i figured it would be good to listen to complaints for once and not ignore it and brush it off as if it was a woman complaining then i cannot lsay no.

adehus: It's silly as i said before but i did set the rule myself in the post i did so i should probably do as i wrote in it too and listen to complaints when they come and remove them. It's no big deal for me, i'm kinda used to it. And no i should make it clear that it was not NL that had problems this was as i understand it one single person who seemed newly registered and had zero posts on the forum too.

I think 99% of us WANT to have a free forum to exchange ideas and such. To bow to the pressure of one... sorry... fanatical purist is just plain unfair to everyone else.

I for one will be posting all of my work here regardless of content. If the moderators wish to slap my hand I will absolutely respect that and redefine the boundaries of 'art' for this forum, but for another poster to send me an email telling me how much my ART offends them, the response will be "don't look then if you don't like it"

I'm not saying I agree with child pornography, or pornography in art. No, I believe in the freedom from unreasonable censorship... which I have no doubt this is... and Max... you just went along with it.

I for one would like to see your work... could you please post it again?

I know you're right and i totally agree with you about what you say, however i have myself to blame for this too. I left the door open for this to happen with what i said in my post with the nude rendering. If i wrote it more specific and exact down to the word with rules for those considering clicking on the linked image or not then i would been safe. Now done is done and i learnt a lesson until next time.

Usually you won't see me bend over backwards due to pressure like this, first time i gave in now. But what surprises me even more is that i haven't got anything but good critics over at CGTalk on both renderings, no one even mentioned about offensive renderings because of nudity in them which is strange as CGTalk keeps you on a tight leach when it comes to showing skin in renderings.

Ian, i won't post it here again and get more shit from doing so. The naked and other skin showing renderings will only be visible on my website from now on. But to be honest.. Ian, until that day admins/mods setup new rules regarding posting of offensive material such that contain naked and/or pornographic or sexual material in any way that anyone could be offended by then it would in theory be free to post whatever you want on this forum. Only they make up the rules here.

I'm sorry but i gotta do this even tho it speaks against all i know about freedom of art and speech.

naw, it would just get things nastier if you reveal the identity of the person. I mean, everyone is honestly entitled to their opinion. The problem of course is that in this case their opinion doesn't jive with the majority of people on this forum (correct me I'm wrong people)...

And perhaps there ARE a couple more lingering around the forum... people who would find your work objectionable. But I'm wondering... so what?

There will always be extremes on both sides of the fence, both for and against nudity, gay marriage, eating M&Ms in front of the TV.... the trick is to recognize what really is an extreme and treat it as such. I'm willing to bet that if your work were truly offensive for this forum you would have had 20+ AND the moderators on you... so perhaps trust that one person does not speak for the minds of all of us.

Ok.. I'm done preaching. But I do respect your level of respect for other people's beliefs... your a bigger man then I.
