Great scene there you set dd_, lighting is nice.

bedroom night scene added
no mater how long i leave it running it just keeps getting more grain
i left it running for 53hrs it reached 23 samples
this was one of the cleaner renders of it so ive finished playing with this scene now (night shot anyway)

HELL NO :/
i did the same but it lost alot of the detail so i kinda liked it without
more to the point why after 50+ hours was it gaining noise and not reducing it eh eh eh

Try more simple geomerty as an emitter.
A tetrahedron (the smallest 3D geometry) is suitable as the lamp itself.
It must reduce rendertimes :D

olive oil render added
another glass test
i think the top of the oil has some funky model phong issues or wat not
quite like the glass and oil look though

decided to rerender my camera model
nearly reached 20 samples. 1 emitter, 10hrs but didnt really change in the last 6hrs. also i had to stop it as there was a small sign of a light sucker forming underneath the camera.
hope you like

i saw your camera model in CGTalk made you give Award.
But IMHO, in this case it dosen't seems look better than your original scene. anyway just supprised looks correct 'flash-kit'(sorry don't know actually word)

Sometimes Maxwell scares me about reality
Very nice job! Can you render a larger size?

I really like the model and the realism on this camera shot... but something is lacking in terms of color choice. The background could be spiced up a little to contrast with the camera.

thanks for the comments guys
thomas an. i only did it for the camera to see if i could get the textures and to see if it would come out real looking. it really wasnt about the scene or bg. all about the subject matter( but i do see where your comming from). now i know it renders nice i will think about placing it in a scene of sorts. stay tuned for more :)
once again thanks for the comments
