That last one with the chair is so bad it's good :D
Very realistic especially with the caustic showing up. Did you use a slight fog for these?

:D I think Eldo is a practical joker... he adds some grain to photos and then posts them as Maxwell images to see if we fall for it ... :D

The flash images are so "real" that it starts to feel boring
(just as it would if this was a real photo under those light conditions)

Eldo, that is great work !

thank you guys..
i wonder why i get only positive feedback on this.. i mean.. when i first saw these images in the renderview i felt lucky.. such as always.. and then maybe ten minutes later i was already bored by the pics and started to see them as yet another midrange work of mine..
maybe ill re-model the pillows and rerender it in a little higher resolution..
and then see what its like..

maybe ill share the scene file then..

maybe :D

hey eldo,

great work on the flash light images! the one with the pillows in front doesn't work for me that well compared to the shot with that nice office chair. There is just VERY little left seperating it from true photorealism.
I would put a little more effort into the modeling to make appear more believable, things like papers, pens, boxes, lighters whatever.
the weakest point have been the pillows as you have already pointed out, try to rework them.
Unfourtunaltely I had no time meanwhile to produce other works with maxwell, but I'd like to try out your flashlight thingy some time...
regards, and thanks a lot for the nice floor texture,

the first one is amazing. there's still something wrong with the cushions somehow, but i can't really get my hands on it. maybe a fine bump map or something like that would have helped.
great work anyway.

IMO the cushions just need lower uv and a good specular map parallel with a detailed bump...
and last one is killing! i love the glass desk :D

Can you share your Car Plastic Shader settings with us, Looks great!
and the flash shots have a great cam flash look to them as well.
What is your Glossy, reflective, and spec settings on your car shader?
Ive found that lower glossy gives sharper reflection, so i wanted to know how you got it to reflect so wellat obliqu angles. Im having trouble getting a car shader right, but im trying to render a white car too.

any suggestions?
cheers!
