Yeah, Windows has become a lot better with XP, but it still sucks. :)

:D I think Bill is a real smeghead. :) His monopoly works against true quality.

Huh! He's a tradesman not a genius indeed.
His first and the last attempt on Amiga was "Amiga Basic" (developed by Microsoft)
and the scene selected this application as
"THE WORST APPLICATION IN THE HISTORY OF AMIGA"

386, so that must have been around 1992? 8 megs of RAM, wow! When I bought my Amiga 1000 in 1986 it came with 256 KB RAM and could be expanded to a fantastic 512 KB RAM! :)

hehe.. yep i also tried to expand an A500 with ironing 53280 chips directly onboard...was a tragic experience for me... :)
i supposed to make 2MB total, but it was 1.7666.. in the end ...hehe
thus it was sometimes crashing and then i vacuum back all... lol

:) One of my arguments to convince my mother to buy me a Commodore 128 is that I would learn how to program and then become a professional programmer. :) But most of the time I was playing games, games and more games. :) So I became a game designer / graphic artist in the end. :)

Mostly lurking because I've been too busy to post any renderings. But reading this post was really nostalgic. I wonder what machines my newborn son will be nostalgic about. I hope his first machine isn't a pc... or that it is and he one day remembers the good old days before windows went away... :)

Yeah, that's kind of a weird idea, that the new generation is growing up building sentimental memories with ... Windows! Aaarrgghhh!! :)

Thanks Tencendur. The darker area at the left is simply not in the spotlight. I like it this way because it causes some variation next to the all-white area.

:D Ah, those careless early computer days! Can't get enough of my memories. I'm sure I'll one day be a sentimental old fart in his computer-controlled wheelchair, talking about the good old Commodore days, when nerds were still real nerds. :)

Well spoken, my friend. That's a great idea to be buried with your Amiga and C64, as special offering to god (also known as Jay Miner). :)
