Olivier,

some nice work you put together there. but something is bothering me. the rendering with the table with holes, have you noticed that the in the shadow on the floor the holes are offset? would that mean that when the sunrays enter the glass, and are bent, they don't bent back when leaving the glass? (I assume you used a refraction index larger than 1 for the glass)

cheers

Olivier, ...all nice.

but one crit.......the exterior entrance with the thick glass column. The thickness of the glass negates the scene as realistic (commercially speaking, ...a piece like this isn't available). It also 'miniaturizes the scene because our senses tell us that typically a piece of glass that looks like this is maybe 1/2 inch or 3/4 inch thick(a couple of cm's) ....anyways, ...so our mind reduces everything else in the scene accordingly. It scales it down.

sorry ---- just had to get that out.

I think I mentioned this because it's a good scene, but that piece (IMO) hurts it ...to whatever degree.

hmm, ivox, if i understand you right, you think that the glass thingy is a BIG glass panel... as it seems so in this pic, and thus you are totally right...but... :D this scene was modelled to be rendered in Maya with Mental ray and it looked good, it's actually a cube of glass panels, and i should remodel that for this maxwell rendered pic, it would be more accurate... i just trew it in maxwell and did a 5min setup.... :( ...well have to look at it again... and thank you for this remark... so i will make a new one with RC5....let's see :D

...okay, ...that explains it. :) ...yeah, I think the shot is pretty good, ....maybe one last thing ..... , perhaps add some signage or a sign above the doors just to fill the frame a little and to push it toward reality. :P
