if you are not yet bored i have to say you must pay more attention to the aspect...
look at the reference photo for a long time :)
Ah yes, Tom means the model looks a bit stretched. This might also be exagerrated by the photo's angle. Here is a different angle:

I had one in 1985 too. But to be exact I owned the big brother of the C64: the C128. A fine machine, with the C64 system as a part of the hardware. I bought the machine to do some programming in C128 BASIC V7 mode, but I ended up playing games in C64 mode most of the day. :)

My favorite C64 games:

• Rambo
• Commando
• Monty on the Run
• Frank Bruno's Boxing
• Yie Ar Kung-Fu
• Uridium
• Henry's House
• Way of the Exploding Fist
• Space Taxi
• Bruce Lee
• Zorro
• The Goonies
• Beach-Head II
• Oil's Well

My favorite Amiga games:

• Marble Madness
• Speedball
• Sidewinder
• Hybris
• The Faery Tale Adventure
• Impact
• Deluxe Galaga
• Scorched Tanks
• Hoi
• Clockwiser

:) hehe good to see there are so many retro computer geeks here, not just newbies who only used fast PC's in their life.
I started out with the Vic20 many many moons ago and i still got it here in it's original box, and i treasure it more than life itself :P after that one ofcourse there was a few C64's and Amiga's of various sorts and configs :) best computers ever!

Unfortunetally I only had a C64 from ages 4-7, in the meantime I had gotten an NES, and a 386 when I was 10 or 11 years old. I bought a used Amiga when I was 18 and used it a bit :-P Hehe.

Well, I guess the camera angle I took the mouse with isn't so good, there is almost no perspective as the camera is a bit far away and the image is zoomed in a bit, because I've used a ruler with the mouse I have in front of me now so determine the measurements you can see here.

beveled roof top of the mouse (which has no dimension on your drawing) seems to me larger then original... and it must be a bit more hatchback.

Oh you're right, the mouse's real top is 62mm deep and 44mm wide, my model's size is 66 and 46.5. The overall height of the real mouse is 33mm but mine's 30.5, I'll resize some of the angles and provide another render

Cool stuff, Tom! Did you know that in the first A1000 models the chip designer signatures as well as the paw print of Jay Miner's dog were included on the Amiga's custom chips (Agnus, Denise and Paula) ?

And did you know that during the public introduction of the Amiga Andy Warhol created art in DPaint, not long before he died?

Those were the days.
