When i see what you are doing and what i' m doing, this make me think that we don't make the same jobs even if we call ourself industrial designer. Anyhow, I'm very impressed by your engineer and designer skill, far better than mine.
I have check your website and have one question: Do you work alone?
Thanks man your work inspires me so your comments mean a lot. Don't be too impressed though the Engines are provided by Subaru and Honda The pump is also provided off shelf. These vendors send us the cad files for those components. We just built a frame and some parts that go around these main components. The gun that is on the ridgid units was sketched by one of our talented interns and modeled by one of our other designers who is very good. So I don't do it all for sure. My main focus of work was everything but the gun and pre-exisiting engine and pump though and it was a few months of work. The parts we do were sent directly to tooling for manufacture production. I make our sheet metal vendor in China life very difficult with those ridgid metal faceplate's. But in the end they pull it off. Oh yes an Intern and I both did all the graphics and labels. That took more time than all the other parts!
I do not work alone. I work for a company called Techtronic Industries and my team Concept International is an in house design group for all of the tools this company makes. The people I work with have incredible talent and inspire me every day. My website is there only to get side work although I would not have time if it came

I think it is there in the hopes that one day I could do this full time on my own. Time will tell.
