Very good images. Stupid question: How did you model the smooth ice cubes? Rail Rotate?

Thank you everyone for the nice words

Tom Thank you! you are a great sport.

Hervé It was modelled loosely from the Yamaha http://www.miamibillfish.com/newimages/ ... stroke.jpg
This was modelled for a client about a year ago to patent some internal components (which I can't show) but I decided to make the outside as realistic as possible as an exercise.

Mihai Iliuta Thanks ! I will look into rim lights (haven't had much experience with them) ... about the bottle: which one ?

isam Thank you, for the nice words !

Micha You have a good eye for detail ! The cubes are actually developable spheres with their points pulled at the 8 corners.

Maximus3D Thank you !

An armadillo image was added.
It has some SSS and you can see (sort of) the shadow from the fastener pin inside the leg.

Does your Swan like bottle/lamp have any post-processing?

Thanks!

Hi Ph0n33z,

The Klein bottle has a slight noise reduction with Neat Image only in the caustic at the base area (not the shadow).

New image added.
Nothing fancy; a calculator in a casual setting.
This is an old model which is now being refurbished (this was one of the very first 3D models I did years ago in Rhino).
