If you refer to the blur in foregound of the project, it's because i changed the scale of the project to archive a model-like look by a mayor depht of field.
If you refer to the horizontal frequence on the top-left it's again a problem cause by our frame-split approach.
Oscar Cano already explained that our frame splitting approach is wrong for emitter scenes.
I hope we find soon a solution for that.
We want to change our whole rendering system at Stack! Studios to Maxwell but ve need to know ho to merge MXI files without Maxwell Manager.
I want to imagine some of this projects doned with Maxwell.

Too bad the frame splitting doesn't work as efficiently as I hoped
Do you know if it's just for emitter scenes?

Oscar says that the problem is relative to emitter scenes.
But i think that some caustics, even in phisical sky scenes, are calculated differently with splits versus full frame renders.

  Yeah this would be really beautiful in Maxwell - even tho it's already awesome work.

Yes, at the moment is not correct to render with Maxwell using splits. If scene have emitters, the situation is worse. To render one frame using different machines the only solution is to use maxwell cooperative render, with maxwell net manager.

With the help of David Rossmann, we are gonna try to make maxwell working under matador.

Best regards.
