yeah.. i just used a plane for the flashlight.. i dont think its necessary to model a complete flashlight.. this would just mean more rendertime..
as flashlight usually dont have significant caustic patterns you probably won´t see any difference between a simple plane and a modelled flashlight.. only in terms of rendertimes

no animation on this one.. i did some tests first with a box and a few teapots but results were not very promising..

i used one plane.. approximately 2x3,5cm size. emittermaterial with 120W (custom slightly blueish color)
f/stop 2,8
shutterspeed 60
Film ISO 100

then, how do you think about using celling light as keylight.

example hologen, HQI. etc as down light and spot light.

i want to know what you think about it's not necessary to model too
