You can guess about his lighting setup in the reflection of the headlamp on the left. :wink:

A yellow plane emitter on the left, a blue coloured on the right and a white in the center. No skydome, no physical sky.

The concrete texture looks good, I would prefer you use a normal map instead of a bump map.

Check out Nvidia's plugin for Photoshop it is free and you can easily convert a bump map into a normal map.

The caustics from the water to the underside of the structure are very nice!

My goodness how did you accomplish that water! Are you using that AddTheSea plugin for C4D?

DOF looks good, I would check out Richard Rosenman's DOF plugin to give the structure more DOF- the column in the back could have more depth but not be in focus a tad bit.

Yes, the DOF for the structure needs to be shallow to match the water.
