Nice work sqwall, and thanks a lot for sharing the post process technique

OT : by the way, "bravo" to people here, specially tom as a moderator on the site (even if on a different part of the forum), for this kind of attitude. This gallery is called a "User Gallery", the only rule is said as "Only final and BEST high quality Maxwell works. No WIP allowed. Otherwise, the topic will be erased.". And the other sticky asks people to put the Maxwell logo on images for which it's been used. So, as far as I'm concerned, THIS sqwall's picture is a one for which Maxwell has been used, no?

The main point here is more about human behaviour though, rather than "technical" points : never seen a forum (and I am an active member on several ones related to CGI) where a moderator has this kind of attitude. On the C4D part of the Maxwell plugins forum, everything is clean, Tyrone Marshall does the job very well by closing EVERY subject that is pointing to a solved problem, and he keeps the whole thing up to date and clear each time needed. I feel as if some other parts of the forum don't work this way, too bad, because if so, we could have avoided this kind of discussion here with people so convinced and narrow-minded that they have to discuss the point for TEN pages, just because they started it with a 3 words agressive post...

OK, I'll stop there. I know I am just kind of a newbie for you tom, as I have just posted here a few times, but above all, I am a NextLimit customer, on the official NextLimit's Maxwell forum, and for this I paid my license. You don't know what I do with it, whereas lot of people here know what you've done with Maxwell, but moderating is about something else : you talk about non-respect of the community and lack of explanations, but where are these principles in your posts, usually, as at least 500 out of your 3300 posts are just : either a smiley, either a 3-words "phrase" a la "Cool", "Nice render", "well done" etc..??? You're supposed to be an example and the guy that says stop when people don't respect the rules. With this kind of example here, I can understand why more and more people on the forum, as soon as someone post an image, just ask "gimme the model please". Such a lack of education and politeness...

Definitely, I am just gonna think a very long time before becoming an active member here. You say that it's a "technical" forum because of the beta-version period? So moderate the whole forum as if it was really an only technical one, we will just come here time to time to check new official posts from Maxwell developpers teams...
