I had this model i did a while ago of a building thats being built in Nashville. We used it at work for an animation, but it was mainly in the background(we were concentrating on another skyscraper, Signature Tower). So i decided to do a few renders of it with maxwell. The location is not correct in the photo comp, but its the best photo i could find of downtown. These rendered in about an hour each, got to level 11.

great as always,

but for the second shot, IMO it would be better nice If there are any reflection of glass from environment. for example, clouds or tree etc :D

IMO, Placing planes(if u work in 3dmax, draw a spline by contour of the building on all the photos and convert to "edit poly", then apply texture-photo) with environmental photos around the building may be a good way to achieve nice reflections, just grab a camera and take some shoots, the result will be much more real. As for geometry - maybe it's looking not so real because of simple geometry and no bump-maps.

Woow, missed this one earlier.

Renders look fantastic, perspective match is really good!!

Good renders, but sunlight doesn't match the photo in the first image. If you could correct orientation of sun the image would loook better
