Do you design special methods for collecting textures, like handling paper with dark, inky fingers to scan high contrast textures that represent fingerprint oils?

That's literally exactly what I've done. I buy sheets of white fiberboard, and get dirt on my hands or paint, and handle the fiberboard. Then I scan them. I've also gotten sheets of aluminum from Home Depot, and spray painted them matte black, and then just taken whisks to the surface, or an orbital sander, and lightly mark up the surface for scratches. I've also scanned the bottoms of all my pots and pans, etc.

Great work, as usual! I just noticed two things disturbing my eyes. One of them is, deep pale orange TIR tint on the rim and the other one is opaque feel on the left end of the bent track. Your ideas, Mike?

The materials are awesome. Would love to see the set up. Would make a great v3 material tutorial.
