...gonna have to side with hyltom on this one, I'm afraid. I sit at one of these things about 16 hours a day, and this isn't quite the view :P It's not bad, but the keys especially need work, and I'd get some of the unavoidable paint ripple into the surfacing.

Totally agree, you should pay more attention to modelling, the keys are scaled up and I don´t think there are the 88 keys a piano has...

it´s just a website-image, I did it for free.
I spent about 1h for setting up the scene, the object itself is a free model found in a 3d mag.

the piano-paint is a simple basic material from mxm wizard (plastic) with some adjustment of roughness and color!

just the light-setup needed some more time, but it´s just because you can act like a photographer with maxwell ;-)
(it is fun to setup light)

nice, what mw can do with a poor modell in a few hours :-)

final resulution 2000+3000 / 10h rendertime.

I'd give the keys some slight gaps and a bit of yellowness for realism, but then thats just me.
