@xlars: Thank you, I always try to model things as far as my hardware can handle, for I think the rendered result will benefit from that, and I really have a passion for modeling.

@jdp: Yes, the bricks have been kind of a problem because the bump values have not been exported correctly resulting in a very flat look. Will do better next time.

@tanguy: The answer is: raw CPU horsepower. 180 Ghz generated from 15 Quadcore Xeons in this case. Rendered overnight. The skylit version would have been clean after half an hour maybe but the countless emitters and caustics took a bit longer.
