G'day!
I thought i'd start the new year with a brand spanking new rendering i made the other day of a set of Evermotion premade models i got, these are the cones as you can see. Nothing really special of fancy, just cones
Some facts..
- The scene is fully setup within 3dsmax, Studio was never touched for this.
- One single hdri map lits the scene, no other lightsources were harmed during the creation of this image.
- Materials are simple two layer mxm's, a little bit of sss is added but i'm not sure it's even visible.
- Render resolution is 1600x1200.
- Rendertime was a nightmare with 30 hours, 26 minutes, 29 seconds.
- Computer used was a P4 3ghz with 2gb ram.
- Groundtexture was a bit too lowres which ruins this rendering.
- DOF is somewhat too strong also, it makes these look like miniatures.
- SL 17,46 was reached, rendering was still noisy so post noisereduction been done.
800x600 halfres render
