Lars: Thanks :D hehe

Last night i started working on the chocolate that covers a Daim bar, this is a first testrender of it. Note, the material is not yet finished as there's still some more tweaking to do until i'm calling it finished.

Anyways, a preview of it here (chocolatebar is Zbrushed) for this rendering.

Super cool .. did you also consider showing it after a bite - revealing the crunchy caramel candy inside? :-)

Sweet render !

:)

The table texture will change, it sucks right now. And yep i been considering breaking apart the choclate and maybe also model the wrapper (but i have no textures for it). We'll see.. first of all the choclate mxm needs to be tweaked and finished, then i'll crack apart the chocolate to reveal the hard inside, then the inside needs another mxm, and finally it all needs to be posed :/ so much to do.. so little time.

Thanks for looking!

[Edit] : A small but tasty preview of what's to come can be seen below :P

While i was wondering if your work was realistic as usual (since i do not know those bars....), my swedish girlfriend gave me an answer indirectly: "but it's a Daim bar!". So that i have to admit: great work again Maximus!

Tim: Thanks you Master :) but these things still requires work to look real.

Mattia: Hehe, thank you! :) and lucky you to have a Swedish girlfriend. Nice catch :D

Here's one of the same but still different since i smashed the Daim chocolate and then redid it, however this one needs alot more work to look good. I'm not satisfied with it :(

Hehe, thanks :)

You're right, the edge is slightly too sharp and unrealistic. I had some issues slicing this model up, in other words it was a hell of a job to do with mesh issues along the way to deal with. About those almonds, they're umm.. heh, you see those differently colored thingy's in the chocolate candy :) that's supposed to simulate embedded crushed almonds in the candymaterial. It needs more tweaking tho, i ain't proud of that material. :(
