Hey fellow maya Maxwell users, Can anyone help explain the mxObject nodes inside maya. Well i know its attributes, basiacally lets you defin maps for the mx object's shaders. But why is a mxObject neccessary, becasue I can setup and render a scene as long as I use maxwell shaders on my regular maya polygon objects all renders fine without creating a single mxobject in my scene. So whats the deal , what advantage is there to creating a mxObject node with poly geometry? Does it help render faster? Ive rendered the same geometry with just maxwell shaders, and then geometry with the maxwell shaders running through a mxObject node, didnt see any time difference or render diffrence? So why is there even an ability to create a mxObject node from the maxwell menu when you can render without a mxobject assgined to each object in your scene?

anyone experiance anything thrilling with a mxobject node attached to the polyobject your rendering?
